Bigger, Better and Tastier – that’s the word from Reckless Brewing as the Beer of Bathurst ramps up for an even bigger Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour in 2025.

The official brew of Australia’s International Enduro launched their partnership with the event this year, with the Reckless Brewing Rooftop bar a popular place for people to enjoy the weekend.

This year, the Rooftop experience will be bigger and better than ever as the popular brewery continues to expand – representing Bathurst around Australia and, via the 12-Hour, to the world.

Reckless Beers will be on tap and for sale throughout the venue, while Reckless’ taproom and restaurant on Piper Street is likely to be a hub of both during and post-event activity each day throughout the event.

The Rooftop bar, open to all ticketholders at the event, will once again be the place to be throughout, offering shade and shelter, music, big screen coverage of the race and of course a range of Reckless Brewing products on sale.

The partnership between the race and Reckless is an example of the event partnering with local businesses to support the Bathurst region, while also showcasing it to the world.

Reckless Brewing and motorsport have been closely linked, with branding appearing on several cars across a host of national-level motorsport categories in 2024 – including one of the powerhouse operations contesting the Repco Supercars Championship.

With that comes the hint that the WAU relationship could be a pointer towards a future 12-hour offering, with the team’s range of themed ‘livery’ cans proving incredibly popular.

Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour Event Director Shane Rudzis said the partnership was one of the most exciting in the event’s history.

“When the opportunity to lock in the official Beer partner of the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 hour came up in late 2023, we had opportunities with several major Australian and International brands who were keen to partner with the event.

“However, one of the strongest things the event offers is its ability to showcase Bathurst to the world and when we started talking to the team at Reckless, it made all the sense in the world to work with them.

“It doesn’t get any more local than offering a product that is brewed 3.3km from pit straight.”

The 2025 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour commences on Thursday, 30 January 2025 with the annual Track to Town Parade, followed by the commencement of practice on Friday, 31 January.
