Over $72,000 was raised across the event period this year, while the campaign to raise awareness for the cause reached more than 1.5 million people.

Around 3,000 ‘virtual laps’ with PCFA ambassador Craig Lowndes were purchased via the website while more than $18,000 was raised through donations at the event alone.

It’s the largest amount raised for an event Charitable partner in Bathurst 12 Hour history.

PCFA reported a notable uptick in calls to the Foundation’s telenursing service plus increased traffic to website and social media channels, coupled with hundreds of potentially life-saving conversations held across the event around getting checked for early detection.

The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia has been a visible part of Australia’s International Enduro for several years via ambassador Craig Lowndes and the Scott Taylor Motorsport outfit. PCFA became the official event charity for the first time, broadening the reach further before, during and after the race itself.

2025 marked the first of a three-year partnership between the event and the Foundation.

“To see the meaningful impact we have had as an event on such an important cause is something our entire 12 Hour team is extremely proud of.

“The reaction to working with PCFA this year has gone beyond our initial expectations and their presence is now a staple of the event.

“We’re proud of our fans and supporters who stepped up to support such an important cause and those who might have been promoted to have a conversation about getting checked.

“This campaign will only grow in coming years and we hope to be able to go even further in 2026.”

Anne Savage – CEO, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia

“This year’s Bathurst 12 Hour was a massive win for motorsport fans, a massive win for Aussie men, and a massive win for all Australians impacted by prostate cancer.

“With a reach of 1.5 million, we drove the message home for men to get checked, partnering with Supercars and the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour to save lives.

“We are tremendously proud to play a part in Australia’s premier international endurance race, putting Australia in pole position to increase prostate cancer survival and continue our race for zero deaths from the disease in the next ten years.

“We’re hugely grateful to the organisers, the drivers, and the fans for coming out to support the work of PCFA.”
