A jumbled field will tackle Q1 and Q2 at the Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour, which will set the field for Pirelli Pole Battle.
Four Mercedes, both Porsches and both BMWs all reached Q2 as Ferrari missed out, with Chaz Mostert suffering a scare across the top of the Mountain in the #26.
Cam Waters put the #222 Scott Taylor Motorsport Mercedes-AMG on top, with Ross Gunn and Jamie Day impressing to second and third ahead of Tony D'Alberto and Laurin Heinrich.
All told, a Pro entry led two Silvers and two Pro-Ams, with the WRT BMWs sixth and seventh.
Q1 will get underway at 1:05pm, before Q2 at 1:50pm. The results of Q1 and Q2 will determine the 10 cars which will progress to the final phase of qualifying, the Pirelli Pole Battle, which will commence at 4:05pm.
