The Repco brand stands for ‘Authenticity’ derived from having quality automotive aftermarket products which have earned the trust of our customers for over 100 years. With an Australasian footprint of over 400 stores supported by over 4000 staff, Repco remains number one in its field, standing proud as one of Australasia’s most iconic brands. But Repco's standing in the industry isn't just because of its longevity or retail prowess.
Its standing as an automotive leader was cemented in the 1960s after the brand teamed with Sir Jack Brabham, building the engine that would take on Formula 1 ... and win. Driving the car that bore his own name, the Repco Brabham BT19 won the 1966 Formula 1 world championship. And the following year, the combination won again with New Zealander Denny Hulme.
This solidified Repco's place in motorsport history, and the company has never been far from the race track since, whether it was building engines from the mighty Formula 5000s in the 1970s, supporting the efforts of Bathurst 1000 winners or being the major partner of our Great Race – the Repco Bathurst 1000.
Repco knows cars. And it loves motorsport.
